Training/Behavior Modification:
Private Sessions (with Dog and Guardian): In our initial consultation, we’ll review your pet’s history, identify desireable and undesireable behaviors, and discuss nutritional and health information. We’ll then assess your needs and expectations, and customize a program tailored to your goals. Training can address issues such as basic obedience, greeting and leash manners, dependable recall, excessive barking, digging and/or humping behaviors, and more advanced issues such as leash reactivity, separation anxiety, and resource guarding. I employ positive reinforcement training that will ideally be embraced by your whole family. These methods are based on animal learning theory and provide a fun, humane, and more dependable way to work on your dog’s behavioral issues by focusing on how dogs learn.
A special thanks to those who have adopted a dog from a shelter or rescue organization. Pets end up at shelters due to medical and behavioral issues, divorce and other life changes, housebreaking difficulties and a lack of healthy socialization. Thankfully, many behavioral issues can be addressed and managed with your commitment to humane training, mental stimulation, socialization and exercise. Our hands-on work and demonstrations will take the guess work out of training.
Initial consultations are $90. Session rates are determined on a case-by-case basis.
Pet Recess Day Visits: Rates vary depending upon your pet’s needs.
Vet Taxi: $45 (I attend the exam with your dog and provide a report for you afterwards)
Massage: Please ask for additional information.
Weekends & Holidays:
25% surcharge for weekend walks.
25% surcharge for all services on major holidays/holiday weekends.
